“BERLIN WALL” (2021)
synopsis: BERLIN WALL is an experimental animated short film that captures the "divided" body in times of lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. The history of the Berlin Wall is unrolled with a black thread that traces the former border. The short film puts the historical event and the myth of the Berlin Wall in a new context. The feelings of being trapped and of wanting to fly away are expressed physically. In the Metamorphoses, the body moves along the wall, forms a ball of wool, crawls along the wall and finally breaks through it. Between movement and standstill, the body draws double-exposed images on the Berlin Wall, which become street art. This is an experimental, animated short film that captures the "divided" body and its fragmented movements.
